San Diego, CA, March 14, 2024 - MOMUSA Sports is happy to announce the Annual Summer Ministry Games are back with official dates of July 5, 2024 to July 7, 2024.  We are also excited to share that Men’s Volleyball has been added on as a new category this year.

Over the years, this event has been a platform that has given the ministry the opportunity to nurture the up and coming talents, both physically and spiritually.

Each day of the tournament is jam packed with intense volleyball and basketball games as teams go head to head and battle it out towards championships. Worship services also take place daily where the Word of God is shared and personal relationships with Christ is encouraged. By far, the most rewarding experiences are the victories that take place off the courts.

We continue to pray for God’s favor, His direction, and leading in all of the planning and preparations to come. In all these years, God has worked and has always provided. We are humbled and blessed to be a part of it all.

We can’t wait to meet again! Stay Blessed!

MEMORIAL DAY CO-ED SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

Chino Hills, California, May 25, 2024 - Memorial Day, is a time of remembrance and reflection in the United States, dedicated to honoring the men and women who have given their lives in service to the U.S. military, and their country.

On this day we pay tribute to the countless soldiers who have laid down their lives to protect the freedom and values cherished by the nation. May we continue to carry on their legacy in our hearts, and remember their sacrifice.

This past weekend, our community came together for an extraordinary softball game that exceeded all expectations in both attendance and spirit. Families, and friends came together, creating a vibrant atmosphere of camaraderie and excitement.

The weather was perfect, with clear skies and a gentle breeze, making it an ideal day for such an event. The teams, composed of players of various ages and skill levels, showcased impressive sportsmanship and enthusiasm, ensuring a thrilling game that kept everyone in anticipation of the outcome.

Beyond the action on the field, the event was a celebration of fellowship and faith. Spectators and participants alike enjoyed a variety of activities that promoted togetherness and community bonding.

The concession stand was a hit, offering delicious treats, activities for the kids, and spaces set up for casual conversations and catching up with old friends.

This gathering provided a wonderful opportunity for people to connect,  and build stronger relationships within the community.

As the game concluded, the day transitioned into a time of worship and reflection. Pastor Sato Suka led a heartfelt service.  The softball game was not just a sporting event but a meaningful experience that nurtured both body and soul, leaving everyone looking forward to the next opportunity to come together in such a joyous and uplifting manner.

Congratulations to Team KavaKings for taking home the championship! And special thanks to our exceptional host, Duffy Blau, for helping this to be possible. To God be the Glory!

We’ll see you all in SoCal this summer!!
