2017 ANNUAL SUMMER MINISTRY GAMES
JUNE 30TH THRU JULY 2ND, MIRAMAR COLLEGE, SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
It was truly a blessed weekend to remember! With over 250 people in attendance, Micronesian Outreach Ministry USA (MOMUSA) celebrated its 22nd Annual Summer Ministry Games in America's Finest City. The basketball and volleyball tournaments were hosted at the Miramar College Gymnasium and worship services were held at Highpoint Church in Tierrasanta.
Teams from Arizona, California, Hawaii and Oregon along with teams of combined players from many other states joined MOMUSA on June 30, 2017 through July 2, 2017 for lots of fellowship and fun!
The #SMG2k17 event's theme this year was "Doing The Right Thing." On Friday, June 30, 2017, our guest speaker, Lawrence Yinolang from Yap Island, kicked off the event by reminding everyone that there is only one way to God the Father and that is through His Son, Jesus Christ. He reminded everyone that we should not miss an opportunity to share of God's love to others. On Saturday, July 1, 2017, our guest speaker, Pastor Jake Ngirablosch from Palau, reminded everyone that there are many storms that arise in our lives, but the One who is always constant and consistent is Jesus Christ. On Sunday, July 2, 2017, MOMUSA's Overseer, Shadow Suka from Chuuk Island, reminded everyone that doing the right thing is to remain obedient to God and to allow Him to guide and direct your path in life.

Maverick Martinez
Congratulations to Mr. Maverick Martinez of Team FourStars for an outstanding performance during the MOMUSA Annual Summer Ministry Games, 2017. Maverick ended the competition with a total of 64 points and won the Most Valuable Player Award of the Summer Ministry Games 2017, #SMG2K17 in the championship final match up with the defending 2016 Champion, Island Bang.
Dessah Sigrah
Congratulations to Ms. Dessah Sigrah of the Island Bang Volleyball Team from Hawaii. Ms. Sigrah displayed an outstanding performance during the final championship match up with the MOMUSA G-Kumi from San Diego. Ms. Sigrah won the Morst Valuable Player Award for the Annual Summer Ministry Games 2017, #SMG2K17.
