2026 Summer Ministry Games - #SMG2K26

One of the greatest blessings of the 29th Annual MOMUSA Summer Ministry Games (SMG2K26) was the incredible dedication and sacrificial service of our volunteer kitchen and BBQ teams. While athletes competed on the courts and everyone enjoyed fellowship and rest, these faithful servants quietly worked behind the scenes to ensure that every participant was well-fed and cared for.

From the Welcome Dinner on Wednesday, July 8, at Highpoint Church to the closing meal of the event, our volunteers lovingly prepared 13 delicious meals for everyone in attendance. Their work was far more than simply cooking food—it was a ministry of love, hospitality, and selfless service.

Night after night, after everyone had gone to bed, they remained in the kitchen preparing ingredients and organizing everything needed for the next day’s meals. They were often the last to go to sleep and the first to wake up, beginning their day before sunrise to cook breakfast and continue preparing meals throughout the day. Their tireless commitment, cheerful hearts, and willingness to serve made an immeasurable impact on the success of SMG2K26.

The meals they prepared nourished not only our bodies but also strengthened the spirit of fellowship that defines our ministry. Their faithful service reflects the words of Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”

With deep appreciation and heartfelt gratitude, we recognize our outstanding volunteer cooks:

Your kindness and generosity helped make the gathering even more special, and we sincerely appreciate your support.

To each of you, thank you for your countless hours of labor, your joyful spirits, and your unwavering commitment to serving others. Your ministry may have taken place behind the scenes, but your impact was seen and felt by every person who attended SMG2K26.

May God richly bless each of you and your families for your faithful service. We are deeply grateful for your sacrifice, and we celebrate you as an essential part of what made SMG2K26 such a memorable and successful ministry event.

**“For God is not unjust. He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them

Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training.  They do it to get a crown that will not last. But we do it to get a crown that will last forever," (1 Corinthians 9:25).
